Let’s be real…

As I sit here and start to write…I am really hesitant to write it all, but I know that I have too! So here it goes…It has been almost 29 months since I packed my belongings into 6 suitcases and moved to Swaziland! There has been some hard days, sad days, but more happy days! There has been lots of changes since I have moved here…in my life and in the ministry, but the Lord has been there for me every step of the way! In Deuteronomy 31:6, it says “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you!” The Lord has been by my side every step of the way, and He will continue to be by my side…including those days where I don’t feel like I belong here, finding another monthly support has dropped, or just having a bad day period!

So I have put this blog off for a while because I hate being that person “asking for money” all the time! But going into this, I knew I would have to ask for money…one time donations and monthly supporters!! I knew that was going to be the hard part of this journey. But even on a day where a monthly supporter has to stop support and it puts me behind of my monthly goal, the Lord has provided every penny that I needed! It is yet another time that the Lord says, “hello…remember Me…I am the one who provides everything that you need!”

So with that being said, after being back from furlough, I am still short of monthly support! To be exact, short about $300 a month. Now that I will soon be getting married, I will also have to up my support a little. I have been stressing about this for a while now, but Bongani keeps reminding me to keep the faith…the Lord will pull through for me…and soon to be us!

So let me just be honest, when I say I have to live off of 100% support that means 100%. If I don’t have enough monthly support come in, then I have to take a pay cut…which means I will have to do without on something. Whether that be less money for food, less money for gas, cutting off my internet and the list can go on and on! The Lord has covered every penny I have needed since being here on the field and I believe that He will continue to do that as long as I continue to trust Him! So if the Lord has been putting Swaziland on your heart lately, then this is the time that I need you the most!

If you would like to become a monthly supporter or make a one-time donation for this journey that I am on with Adventures in Missions, just click on the Donate! tab on the left hand side! I am excited to see who the Lord uses and how He uses you!!
