Seasons

Seasons…I am not talking about fall, winter, spring and summer! I am talking about the different seasons that we go through in life. Sometimes it is a good season that we are going through and sometimes we go through a hard season!

Right before we had the baby last year, we had enough funds come in for us to trade our car and buy a different one. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THOSE THAT GAVE! We were so happy to finally have a car that worked properly…or so we thought! After about a month of having the car, we started having some issues with it. It would die in the middle of the road, you would give it gas and nothing would happen, etc. This is when the hard season began…we had to fully trust the Lord and actually ask people for help when we needed to get places. I will be honest, this was probably the hardest time for me since moving to Swaziland.

After time of fasting and praying of what we could and needed to do next, one missionary family let us borrow their extra car they had. Now when I say we did a lot of trusting in the Lord during this time, I mean it…our car went in the shop a few days after Christmas and we just got it back mid August. There were days where I cried a lot, stressed a lot, but the Lord kept reminding me to not worry about it.

When the busy team season began, I will say I hit a different season in life. Trying to juggle teams, our CPC’s, a husband and now a baby…is HARD!! But it was so fun to watch Jonathan interact with so many people that came through Swaziland. He had his moments for sure, but he has done great with so many people coming in and out. Being at the carepoint has been so fun to watch him interact with the kids and crawl ALL OVER THE FLOOR and watch so many older kids trying to pick him up.

Along with trying to juggle teams and family, I was also juggling keeping up with support and our wonderful monthly supporters! Now that it is coming up to our year end…I should have done a better job at keeping up! With only 7 days left of our fiscal year for Adventures in Missions, I am still $500 short in monthly support to meet my 100% goal! If you would feel led to give towards this, please click on the Donate! button on the left hand side.

To end this difficult season that we have had, we have an exciting season coming up that we want to share with you all. We are coming to the States very soon!! We will be in the USA for the months of December, January and February. We will spend time with family, but most importantly also spend time with our supporters! I have a lot of catching up to do with monthly support through AIM…so stay tuned for dates of where we will be. We would love for you all to hear how the Lord is moving here in Swaziland and to meet our sweet blessing, Jonathan!

Love to you all!
