Ministry Update:
Towards the end of 2020, leadership said they were going to change the structure of the ministry and it would hopefully be for the better. So that is when they introduced “moving toward regions”. It was a lot of processing to do and a lot of changes coming, but to build relationships within our communities it is for the better. So now Bongani and I are Regional Leaders for our regional team! Not going to lie, it kind of stresses me out to think that we are in charge of a region and still in charge of teams that travel! But the Lord is always good and gives us what we can handle! We still won’t have many teams to travel this year, so we have the time to pour into our regional team and train them so they become the best leaders yet!
So I want to introduce you to our regional team…Servants in Christ! We have 3 Regional Coordinators that travel with us daily to each of our communities, and then we have 4 shepherds that are serving in their individual community. We have 4 carepoints that we are serving alongside of on a daily basis! We are excited to see how the Lord works this year through our team and our 4 communities! And really excited when we have friends to come and visit again…hopefully in the near future!!
Life Update:
We are amazed at how the Lord is providing in crazy ways for the building of our future homes! It is very fast to push to be on our land in the small house by October especially here, but we are praying that the Lord will continue to provide in miraculous ways!
Buy a Brick: We have currently sold 1,670 bricks towards our 5,000 bricks goal. Continue to help us reach that goal!
We have a Builder!! We met with a builder this past weekend and was blown away by him! He is actually a spouse to a former AIM staff member so we really do trust him and believe that he will do an excellent job on the 2 houses! Just like in the States, prices are going up on material and the exchange rate is going down, so we did have to estimate high for our budget on the small house. So the money we are trying to raise to get us to the land is $30,000. So we have $27,000 left to raise!
Our builder does know that we are raising the funds, so we will build the house in stages, so we can pay for the supplies for that stage and pay him and his team for building. So to start on our first stage, we need $7,000 more to go. We are praying and believing!
We are super grateful and thankful for all of you guys! Thank you for loving us, praying for us and pouring into us as we live out the mission that the Lord has placed before us!
