Hello everyone!

It has been a while since our last update…but now that things are starting to slow down a bit I finally have time to write! So just wanted to give an update on everything that we have been doing since January!

Furlough Update:

We were in the States from mid February to mid May. It was such a fun time to introduce Bongani to so many things in Alabama and for him to meet the rest of my family. He had a blast learning a lot about where I come from and why I do things the way I do them.  He LOVED Chick-Fil-A and would have eaten it everyday if I would have let him! He met a lot of people and was overwhelmed at times, but overall it was a really great trip!

During this time, we also had to focus on raising support for our family. We did a lot of speaking at churches, youth groups and speaking to individuals. Although we were hoping to be able to get more monthly supporters, we are very thankful for the few new ones that we got and the ones that are continuously giving year after year! If you would like to become a monthly supporter, please click on the Donate! button on the left hand side.

Ministry Update:

Bongani and I were put into a new position this year within the ministry. We are the new Travel & Team Coordinators. With this position, we handle all of the logistics for all teams, help lead teams, and are country hosts for all Manzini AIM Teams (World Race, Ambassador, etc). It has definitely been an adjustment period, but I love this new position. I fell in love with Swaziland coming on a team and I want all team members to have a similar experience like I had.

It definitely has been a super busy team season, but it has been a fun one! We lead 2 teams back to back from Salt Lake City in June and then we have had a wonderful group of Ambassadors this month! This group of girls has definitely taught me a lot especially when it comes to the future with teenagers!!

Family Update:

If you didn’t hear the fun news…we are having a baby! I am due at the end of October and we are having a little boy! Bongani and I both are so excited for this next adventure and can’t wait to see how the Lord uses us for His Kingdom! This little guy is already loved in many ways and we can’t wait to see how the Lord uses him! Come closer to the delivery time, I will take a step back and get ready for this little guy. I won’t be able to go to carepoints during this time, so I will have a hard time with this! But excited for the future!

Prayer Update:

– Continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and delivery! I am very nervous about the delivery!

– We are trying to raise our monthly support budget because we have a little one coming…but to do that we need more monthly supporters! We need about $1,000 more in monthly support before we can up our budget.

-Our BIGGEST prayer need right now…is funds for a new car. My car that I have right now I have had for 4 years and currently Bongani doesn’t have a ministry vehicle so we are depending on mine right now. It has a major problem with it and I really don’t want to be stranded somewhere with a newborn baby. So we are trusting God with this need along with our support! Our goal of fundraising is around $6,000-$7,000. If you would like to give to this goal, please click on this link https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/send-money-online Once you sign in or sign up into Paypal, you can send funds to the following email: [email protected], make sure you include your name, email address and add a note with Nxumalo or Swaziland so it will come to us!

We are praying hard for the funds for this vehicle and monthly support within the next month! Please pray with us and if you feel led to give, please do! Without all of your support and prayers, I wouldn’t be here in Swaziland…aka ESwatini!

Love to you all!
