What a year it has been...can't believe it will be 2015 tomorrow! This year has been a fun adventure to say the least...from living in Auburn, raising support, going to NYC, then MOVING to SWAZILAND, AFRICA!!
I wanted to share something from each month of this year...some type of memory or something leading up to my big move!!
January...SNOW DAY!!
I love the snow…I guess its cause I don’t see it very often!! :) I wanted to see snow one last time before I left! I was so excited!!
Feb…Winter Jam
I love to go to Christian concerts! This time I was one of the “chaperones" for the youth group. When it was time for the concerts, I acted like a youth! I had always wanted to hear Newsboys in concert and they were there!! It was an awesome night!!
March…My Jerusalem
Every year, churches in the Lee county area get together for a “serving day”. This year, my group was able to help two elderly families. We cleaned their yards! It was a special day because I was able to do it with my brother, Luke! I love to see him being the hands and feet of Christ!
April…Kari Jobe!
Like I said before…I love Christian concerts! This was such a special worshipful night!
It was a cool night because I actually had won 2 tickets for the concert! I NEVER win anything when it is in for a drawing, but God knew I really wanted to go!! :)
May…NYC
This trip was a dream come true!! I have always wanted to go to NYC…and right before I moved to Swaziland, I found out I would be going!! The Mullins and I took a train from Birmingham to NYC. We then flew from NYC to Swaziland. This was my very last American adventure before Africa!! Although, we traveled about 7 blocks in NYC with (it felt like) 50 bags…I would do it again, well minus the bags! :)
June…BIG MOVE!
June 1st was my first day in Swaziland! After traveling for several days, I was so happy to finally be here! It seemed so unreal…and sometimes still feels that way! I was so exhausted, but couldn’t wait to see what God had in store on this wild adventure! I love seeing the kiddos at the care points, but I also love seeing Gods beautiful creation!! This country is so beautiful!!
To be continued...
Until next time,
Morgan
